It’s a new type of instrument for measuring the plasticity of ceramic clay and widely used in industries of ceramics, electrical porcelain, building materials, abrasives and so on.
This tester has two measurement methods:
i. Plasticity indicators method: that is, by studying relationship between stress and strain of specimen during stress process to determine the plasticity of ceramic clay, it’s more scientific and advanced than other methods, and the influence of human factors is minimal. It’s applicable to cylindrical specimen: define the plasticity R to measure the plasticity of clay.
ii. Plasticity index method: to determine the ceramic clay resistance to shape change and is applicable to spherical specimen.

ii. Pressure Range: 0 ~ 200N; Pressure Accuracy ≤ 1% (FS).
iii. Displacement Range: 0 ~ 25mm; Displacement Accuracy ≤ 1% (FS).
iv. Platen Rate: 30mm/min.
v. The whole process and data processing is controlled by micro-computer.
vi. Power Supply: AC 220V±5%; 50HZ±5%.
vii. Working Environment: temperature around 5 °C ~ 40 °C; humidity ≤ 85%RH.
